Challenge

SkiStar has a fantastic core product: their destinations are among the best in Northern Europe for those who enjoy alpine experiences, reasonable accommodation, and a wide range of activities off the piste. In recent years, extensive investments have also been made in the summer season. Today, SkiStar is a year-round player. Despite its dominant market position, SkiStar constantly looks for new ways to improve and expand the customer experience. Digital customer meetings are an essential part of this.

Solution

Skistar.com is constantly being refined. A new UX concept was developed through extensive research, with more apparent choices and fewer steps for the user to reach their goal. An evolved digital graphic profile was created, and, just like with previous versions of SkiStar.com, the choice fell on Optimizely Content Cloud (Episerver), which provides good support for the sizeable editorial organization that enriches the website with relevant content daily.

For the visitor, using the new SkiStar.com should feel like a more unified and supportive visual experience, even though the website is a hub for many different technical systems and platforms that interact and are integrated.
